Flat Earth announce new single “1985”

Flat Earth - 1985

Flat Earth will release their new single “1985” on May 15, 2026, on all major streaming platforms.

Following their signature blend of heavy atmosphere and emotionally driven songwriting, “1985” dives into themes of childhood, emotional inheritance, and the patterns that shape us long into adulthood. The track builds around a haunting refrain — “Play, play, play with me so I could grow up easy” — capturing a sense of longing and unresolved tension.

The single will be accompanied by an official music video, directed by John Wins, set to premiere alongside the release. The cover artwork for “1985” is also created by John Wins, completing the visual identity of the release.

In addition to the digital release, Flat Earth will offer an exclusive bonus track titled “Below My Floor”, available only through the band’s official webshop. The track will not be released on streaming platforms.

“1985” will be available everywhere on May 15. Fans can follow Flat Earth on streaming services and social media to be notified as soon as the track goes live, and access the exclusive bonus content.

More updates and previews will be shared in the coming days.
